She conducted a very thorough examination to get to know me as a patient and to determine the appropriate treatment. Then she requested some tests from me. After receiving the results, she supported the process with necessary medications, supplements, and a nutrition plan. I’ve been continuing the treatment exactly as she recommended, without any interruption. In just a short period of 2 months, I experienced incredible changes. Brain fog, fatigue, bloating, depressive mood — all of these have changed. This month we are also starting hormone therapy. Knowing that she will support me both psychologically and physically during this long menopausal process makes me feel even better.

Dr. Nazlı Korkmaz is an excellent doctor, someone I can fully trust in every matter and who does her job diligently. I don’t have a healthy disc in my back; I had a herniated disc surgery. One week after learning I was pregnant, I started having problems with my back; I couldn’t walk, my body wasn’t even straight, and I couldn’t stand. Doctors told me my pregnancy would not be easy, that delivery would be difficult, and especially that normal birth would be hard or even impossible. But it wasn’t the same for Dr. Nazlı; she prepared me very well for 9 months. I was scared, it was very difficult; in the first months, I couldn’t even sit for an examination. Dr. Nazlı and our beloved midwife Ayfer supported me a lot. They helped me during every examination without forcing or tiring me and made the process easier for me. Thanks to Dr. Nazlı’s psychotherapies, I realized that I was the one who had treated myself unfairly, and it was very beneficial. There were times when I couldn’t attend therapy, but she never gave up; we even did sessions online and I’m glad we did. When my labor started, my contractions did not begin normally. Because I was in pain all the time, we didn’t even realize that labor had started. But with one call, Ayfer understood immediately and informed Dr. Nazlı, and they realized the labor had begun. My home was far from the hospital; it was Sunday, raining, and traffic was heavy. I thought even if I could get there, they wouldn’t make it in time for the delivery. But we arrived at the hospital at the same time. Both Ayfer and Dr. Nazlı came immediately; the real hard times had started. When I arrived at the hospital, I was 8 cm dilated; I was surprised and not prepared for that. My back condition started to trouble me. But the doctor and her team were by my side. I couldn’t do it; I tried to do everything they said, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t feel anything from my back; it was an incredible pain. I couldn’t control my legs; I almost lost consciousness, couldn’t breathe, and started to lose sight. Dr. Nazlı was managing the labor and trying to keep me awake. My baby weighed 4 kilos and wasn’t exactly in the lower position. I couldn’t do what they told me; I kept insisting, “Take me for a cesarean, take the baby out, I don’t care what happens to me, the responsibility is mine, I will sign everything.” But Dr. Nazlı refused; she said she wouldn’t risk me. She kept me standing and monitored my baby’s heartbeats. During labor, I couldn’t control my leg; only one person was holding it. While Ayfer supported my belly, she was trying to give me oxygen. Dr. Nazlı, with her team, helped me deliver naturally. I had lost hope; I thought I couldn’t do it, it was over for me, I even thought I would die. But thanks to Dr. Nazlı, I gave birth naturally, weighing 4 kilos, without even needing induced labor, despite being told I couldn’t have a normal birth. All I can say is may God bless her. My family and everyone were very worried. The first thing they asked at the door was about Nazlı Hanım, “Is Gülcan okay?” When Dr. Nazlı said, “She’s good, she’ll get up and walk now,” they couldn’t believe it. Right after birth, they prepared me quickly. I had come to the hospital in pajamas, had no chance to get ready, but they took care of me immediately and we walked out. When I left the door with my baby in my arms and my family by my side, we were very happy. Thanks to Dr. Nazlı and Ayfer, I had an unforgettable birth experience. We called to learn the cost of a normal delivery with Dr. Nazlı, but they stated that they do not provide price information without an examination. The examination fee is 2500 TL. My spouse is also a doctor, and when patients want to know treatment fees without an examination, information is provided. We think this practice is unnecessary.
